Looking for a creative, confidence-building summer experience for your child? My Summer Art Camps at Fancy Pencils Kids Art Studio in Bloomfield Hills are designed for kids ages 5–10 to explore, experiment, and create in a warm, encouraging studio environment.
What to Expect
At Fancy Pencils, we create a welcoming, non-competitive space where every child’s style is celebrated. Here’s what you can expect:
Guided Projects: Each child will have the opportunity to work on guided projects while also enjoying the freedom to explore materials and ideas.
Skill-Building: We focus on skill-building in drawing, painting, and mixed media at a kid-friendly pace.
Supportive Instruction: With over 9 years of experience teaching young artists, I provide a supportive environment that nurtures creativity.

Choose a theme your child will love! Each week is packed with imaginative art-making inspired by favorite characters, animals, and nature. Here are our exciting themes:
Hello Kitty, Peppa Pig, Squishmallow — June 15–19
Zootopia — June 22–26
Raptors & Fangs — July 6–10
Fairies, Mermaids, Unicorns — July 13–17
Grassland — July 20–24
Endangered Animals — July 27–31
Deep in the Forest — August 10–14 (1–3 PM, 4–6 PM) + weekends June 13–July 11
Summer in the Swamp — August 17–21
