Let Fancy Pencils help your child unfold their creativity with a weekly flexible art lesson that fills their need to paint, color, and draw, while learning the fundamentals of art. Join my supplemental homeschool art lessons and create artwork in a fun, and memorable way! Mrs. Jasmin teaches 6 different art curriculums: 1. Elements of Art and Principles of Design Curriculum (EPIC) - It is designed to teach young artists about Color. Line, Texture, Shape, and Space. Also, Balance, Emphasis, Rhythm, Unity, and Proportion. 2. Famous Artist Curriculum - It is designed to teach young artists about Famous Artists and Art History: Pablo Picasso, Claude Monet, Vincent Van Gogh... 3. Four Seasons Curriculum - It is designed to teach young artists to celebrate the seasons: Winter Wonderland, Spring Blooms, Summer Splash, Fall Colors 4. Art Through Environment Curriculum (EASE) - It is designed for young artists to investigate 9 different environment-themed topics: Forest, Saltwater, Desert... 5. Art Through the Ages Curriculum - It is designed to teach young artists how art has progressed throughout centuries: Ancient World and Classical World till Today, the Forward Progress and New Directions... 6. Global Art Passport Curriculum (GAP) - It is designed to teach young artists about the unique and amazing world we live in: Africa, Asia, Canada & USA... At Fancy Pencils, I believe every child is an artist just waiting to shine. My small, supportive classes give kids the freedom to experiment with different materials, explore new techniques, and create masterpieces they’ll be proud to show off. My art studio is the perfect place to nurture their talents and add a creative twist to your homeschool routine! Information on my Homeschool Art Lessons and Classes: Ages: 7-10 Cost: $768 for a 12 x 1 Hour package for 2 Kids, you save $192! What is included: all art supplies, each class consists of a 20-minute theory block and a practice block with step-by-step guided instructions. Please call to schedule your Homeschool sessions if the predefined morning slots don’t work for you. All classes are by appointment only. I welcome groups of homeschoolers to learn art together!
Cancellation Policy
Ability to engage in art activities and assumption of the risk: Fancy Pencils Kids Art Studio activities may include, but shall not be limited to, the use of paints, glues, oil pastels, pencils, wood/plaster tools, sharpies, acrylic markers and other supplies. Fancy Pencils Kids Art Studio takes all reasonable precautions to reduce risk and provide safe, healthy, and enjoyable experiences. I warrant that my child is able to follow directions for all activities in the studio. I acknowledge that risks from participation in class activities exist and that I have allowed my child to attend an art class, lesson, or camps knowing these risks and their possible consequences including personal injury. Waiver and Release of Liability: As a parent or guardian of my child, I, on behalf of myself and my child, agree that I will not hold Fancy Pencils Kids Art Studio liable for any personal injury, property damage or loss of insurance. I hereby release, discharge and agree to indemnify, defend and hold harmless Fancy Pencils Kids Art Studio and Jasmin Langsch, from all claims, actions, demands, and causes of action, of whatever kind or character that I or my child may have or claim to have against the Released Parties, for any and all injuries, harm, damages (actual and punitive), penalties, costs, losses, expenses, attorney’s fees, and/or other liability or detriment arising out of or in any way related to attendee’s participation in or attendance at any class conducted by Fancy Pencils Kids Art Studio. If a student is unable to attend a class, please notify Mrs. Jasmin full 24 hours in advance. No refund, part refund, credit or make up class will be offered if a student is absent from class without 24-hour notice. Please notify Fancy Pencils if a student is unable to attend a class and contact Mrs. Jasmin at kidsart@fancypencils.org or call 248.252.5227. You may or may not be eligible for refund or studio credit – please see the details below. For summer or school break camps please cancel 7 full days before the start date to receive a full refund or apply a full credit to future lessons or camps. No refund, part refund or credit will be given if a student withdraws from the camp once the teaching term has commenced.
